9.5'h x 4'w x 3.5'dSite specific sculpture created for the Wildflower Sculpture Park in the South Mountain Reservation, Essex County, NJ. The work is a response to the devastating storms that caused extensive damage to the trees and plants in the park. Reclaimed wood from fallen trees was woven into a form that references regeneration.

Compressed, molded, pounded wall mounted and free standing tabletop forms made of chicken wire sewn together with steel wire, fabric, steel grating, glass and other materials. References include hybrid animals and primitive ritual objects. Works in the Metal/Fabric series are part process art and part object making exploring the power and mystery of prehistoric and tribal/primitive forms and the larger theme of religious imagery. Some of the work in the series uses the unique characteristics of toile fabric, single layers are almost transparent, accumulated layer create intense colors, as a kind of drawing and painting medium.
